Women age 18 +: l Pap smear annually
(with 3 consecutive negative tests, MD may recommend alternative
schedule)Women < age 18: l Annual Pap smear if sexually active

l Breast check @annual health care visit
Women ages 18-39:
l Breast check @annual health care visit
l Medical assessment to determine mammogram need <age 40
Breast and Cervical Cancer Program
Avis Goodwin Community Health Center is proud to be a part of the
Breast and Cervical Cancer Program.
This program provides FREE breast and cervical cancer screenings to women who have no health insurance or have insurance that does not pay for screening tests. There is also an income guideline to qualify for services. These tests include a pelvic examination, a Pap test, a breast examination, and a mammogram.
