At Avis Goodwin Community Health Center, we believe in caring for the whole person. Once you become a patient of the Health Center, you have access to a licensed, master-prepared social worker that is available for counseling. If you are uninsured and qualify for our sliding fee discount program you can still access this service at a reasonable cost.
The counselor works closely with you and your medical provider in order to provide you with the best plan of care, one that meets your physical and mental health needs.
